Regular attendance is essential to children’s learning, wellbeing and progress. Our school attendance target is 96%, and we ask families to support children in attending school every day unless they are genuinely unwell.

Attendance that falls below 90% is classed as persistent absence. At this point, the school has a duty to take action and follow the attendance procedures outlined by the Local Authority. We will work closely with families to understand any barriers to attendance and provide support wherever possible.

Holidays must be taken during school holidays. Our term dates can be found here. 

Every school day matters – even a few days of absence can quickly add up and affect a child’s learning and progress.

How to inform the school of an absence:

• Email on bvabsences@britanniaeducationtrust.com stating the reason for the absence or call the school office on 020 7511 5412
• Term Time leave Requests - Please complete this form if you would like to request Term Time Leave. Please note that this will only be authorised in exceptional circumstances.
• Notification of child leaving Britannia Education Trust - Please complete this form if you need to inform us that you child will be leaving our school.​​​
