    Inclusion at Britannia Village

Inclusion is one of our core values at Britannia Village Primary School. We are an ambitious, welcoming school where every child is known, valued and supported to belong, participate and achieve. We have high expectations for all pupils, whatever their starting point, background or individual need.

We are proud to support children with a wide range of needs, including pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). High-quality inclusive teaching is at the heart of our approach. We work to identify needs early, remove barriers to learning and make appropriate adaptations, providing additional or specialist support where needed.

We work closely with children, families and professionals to ensure pupils receive the right support at the right time. Our ambition is for every child to flourish, make strong progress from their starting points and participate fully in the wider life of our school.

At Britannia Village, inclusion means recognising that children may need different things to succeed, while maintaining the same high expectations and belief in the potential of every child.

Our SEND provision is overseen by Judith Ferreira, out Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator, alongside Rosie Chapleo, our headteacher. To contact them, call the school office (020 7511 5412) or send an email.
