PE (Physical Education)
At Britannia Education Trust we provide children with a broad and balanced P.E. (Physical Education) curriculum; this follows the skills based focus of the National Curriculum and aims to:
- Develop children's love for sport and being active
- Teach skills through sports that they will be required to use throughout life, including communication, teamwork and respect
- Provide regular opportunities for children to compete and represent the school
- Enable children to apply the skills they have developed into competition in school and outside of school
The PE curriculum is designed for students to learn a range of skills as well as experience different sports and events. Following PE unit pupils have the opportunity to represent the school in competitive competitions and fixtures with other schools.
