Christmas Production 2021

To our school community,

2021 has felt a little more 'normal', but as we continue towards the 'light at the end of the tunnel' we once again wanted to focus on Festivals of Light, with a message of hope and peace for 2022. Galatea, Nursery, Reception, and Year 1 tell us the beautiful and hopeful story and messages of Christmas. Year 2 and 3 give us the beguiling story of Rama and Sita- the origin of Diwali. Year 4 and 5 share with us the hopeful story of Hannukah and Moses (retold on the eve of Hannukah). We finish off with Year 6, who show us the fascinating differences in which Christmas is celebrated across the world.

We hope that you enjoy the year groups’ productions as children share what they have learnt about different festivals. We also hope  you will join in with our online rendition of I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday!

Thank you for your continued support this year. We wish you a happy and healthy winter break. School will reopen to all children on 5th January 2022.

2020 will be a year that we will all remember, not only for its challenges but also for the reminder of what unites us all. Across the world different religions use candle light to represent goodness and hope for the future. For that reason we decided to celebrate the end of this year by focusing on festivals of light from around the world- with a message of hope and peace for 2021.

We hope that you enjoy the year groups’ productions as children share what they have learnt about different festivals. We also hope  you will join in with our online rendition of Winter Wonderland!

Thank you for your continued support this year. We wish you a happy and healthy winter break. School will reopen to all children on 5th January 2021.
